First off, my replacement PotC: Curse of the Black Pearl arrived.
The Sony KDL-52W3000 arrived and thus there will be lots of moving, disconnecting and reconnecting of video equipment. I will also need to reprogram the Logitech Harmony 880 for it as well. By the way, if anyone knows of any deals on a Logitech Harmony 880; give me a shout.
If there was any reason for me to try Second Life, it would be to see all the freaky shit that Shawn Elliot of GFW Radio was going on about. There was some seriously hilarious anecdotes on this week’s podcast. Nothing truly notable from the Kojima Production Report or 1UP Yours, but they were still great.
This week’s 1UP Show featured Patapon, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Pixeljunk Monsters. Patapon looked awesome and I cannot wait to try it. It’s coming out with a MSRP of just $19.99 as well. Ninja Gaiden DS looks like it will be doing what God of War: Chains of Olympus is doing for the PSP; bringing real 3D hack and slash action onto portables. Pixeljunk Monsters looks like a variation of Desktop Tower Defense, but for the PSN and not free. I’m sure it’s addictive bite sized fun though.
What have I been playing? Odin Sphere, Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Wipeout Pulse. Damn, Wipeout Pulse is good! While I’m on the topic of games, here’s a picture of my Elena Shepard character from Mass Effect. Her lips are a bit off and thus my brother her dubbed her “duck face”.
That’s all for now, folks.
P.S – Here’s a picture of the living room setup. Yes, I watch the Dog Whisperer on occasion. I would have taken a picture without the flash, but I didn’t bother to turn on the light.
