Update: CBS lied. Phelps didn’t get Call of Duty World at War early. He got an I.O.U instead.
So let me get this straight. You win eight Gold medals and Activision gives you Call of Duty: World at War two months early? Seems about right. If you don’t want to watch the whole three minutes or so of Phelps praising, just skip til the end. Apparently he likes the series and thus Activision gave him a copy of the PS3 version.
I guess he’ll be playing it by himself.
Also, does this mean World at War is essentially done and Activision is sitting on it for fun? Or does it mean that Phelps got himself an early beta version with bugs intact?
