With the Xbox 360’s price cut, Microsoft gained a sizable bump in sales. I thought Microsoft would have received a larger bump in sales, but I guess with all the economic troubles, people are saving their dollars.
I overestimated nearly every single platform except for the Nintendo Wii which I actually undershot by over 100K. Xbox 360s still too expensive or are Wii’s just that desirable?
September was a relatively quiet month for me when it came to software. Nothing really interested me. Unsurprisingly, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed did well for the Xbox 360, but then there’s a drop off for the rest of the HD titles.
As always, Nintendo’s presence in the top 10 cannot be ignored. WiiFit managed to sell 518 000 units. Damn…
