When Capcom announced Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition would have additional content, I thought it was simply more areas and that was that. I had no idea that this would be the first of multiple downloadable content episodes. The first episode seems to be a throwback to the first Resident Evil — they couldn’t have been more obvious with Moonlight Sonata playing in the background. Needless to say, I’m intrigued by this. I wonder what other throwbacks they’re going to do through these “Episodes”.
I’m guessing we’ll hear more about the DLC in the new year. In the meantime, I’ll reflect on how disappointing Resident Evil 5 was.
