NPD have cut back on providing actual sales units which is why some of the software titles are missing info. They will only provide sales figures for the top 5 software. They are still tracking the PS2, but will not be providing monthly updates on it.

It was a really slow month. The PSP is sales figures are embarrassingly low. On the bright side for Sony, the PS3 was less than 5, 000 units behind the Xbox 360 this month.

Splinter Cell: Conviction was the top selller for the month while Pokemon and Super Mario Bros. Wii continued their strong sales. I’m actually quite surprised and pleased by God of War III‘s continued appearance in the top 10. Same goes with Bad Company 2. I’m sure it’ll be a bit of a bummer for Capcom, but Super Street Fighter IV isn’t doing so well when you’re looking at day one sales. Only the PlayStation 3 version was in the top 10 with only 143, 000 units.

I’m guessing releasing an update to Street Fighter IV for $40 isn’t enough an incentive for the casual folks to get back in.
