It’s a mini-game that I don’t care for blown up to “full game”, so I wasn’t planning to pick up this title anyway. But hearing the recent news concerning the inability to delete the game’s save file, I have another reason.
Forget the fact that it’s not a traditional campaign game, it’s simply insane not being able to clear high scores or rewards and start from scratch. Did Capcom really believe that this kind of move will maximize sales or convince people to pick up their own copies? It’s bad enough they’re charging $39.99 for a mode found in previous full fledge Resident Evil games in the past, but to pull this off?
That’s just pathetic.
If this was Capcom’s first DRM snafu, I would let it slide. But with the inability to share Final Fight: Double Impact or Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2 on PSN and their proposed SSFIV:AE PC DRM? This is just Capcom insulting paying customers.
