What a day filled with next generation goodness. That’s what I love about GDC time; the promises of the future.
The tidbits from the PlayStation 4 briefing are the most interesting to me. Little details like how Remote Play will just work between PS4 and the Vita without any developer input are fantastic.
Not so amazing? The Battlefield 4 single player reveal. It’s Battlefield 3 all over again and I felt more-or-less the same after watching the 17 walkthrough.
The most exciting piece of news is Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain’s official unveiling. There wasn’t any confirmation about this open world game appearing on next generation consoles but people are expecting something official at E3. Damn it Microsoft. Why couldn’t you announce your next platform earlier so we can stop this nonsense?
