Aside from the announcement of a beta in Spring 2014, the Destiny trailer didn’t do much for me. We’re shown soldiers shooting aliens in cramped spaces while being told origin stories of said aliens. They were familiar scenarios. Hopefully the next trailer will show off something new.
The Super Mario 3D World trailer may appear familiar from a distance but it is full of little details that long time fans have never seen before. There were twists on existing tropes, a few brand new additions but most importantly, there was plenty of them and I doubt Nintendo showed them all off in a single trailer.
Selfishly, I am okay with the delay of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. I don’t have a Wii U yet and I don’t plan on getting one until 2014’s inevitable price cut. I just hope that price cut comes sooner rather than later.
