Sony’s E3 presentation was chalk full of games but it was marred by a half hour’s worth of multimedia nonsense. Nintendo’s E3 Digital Direct thing was a tighter presentation and upon reflection, I think they may have had the best as well.

I’ll be picking up The Last of Us for PlayStation 4 once it hits $30 and since the trailer they were showing off was full of spoilers, I didn’t see fit to post it. The Batman: Arkham Knight demonstration was a jaw dropping moment. I actually exclaimed “Wow” when I saw it on the live stream last night. I was also impressed with the visual fidelity of Uncharted 4 — especially after hearing Naughty Dog was rendering at 1080p and aiming for 60FPS.
Captain Toad’s very own game made me giddy. I just hope it’s reasonably priced. Including both Bayonetta games in a single package was an unexpected gesture but I guess it explains why it has taken them so long to release the game. The Legend of Zelda Wii U footage looked absolutely gorgeous. I was really digging the cell shaded design of Link. I just wonder how it will perform and how long we have to wait before we get our hands on the game.
