Checkpoint: Re-evaluated Reviews Edition

I revamped my reviews system. It’s been bothering me for a while now because I was finding it difficult to find the right text to reflect my opinion. I sat on it for months but was inspired to adopt the Amazon.ca user review system after submitting a number of user reviews of my own. I liked their scale because it was simple.

  • I love it
  • I like it
  • It’s okay
  • I don’t like it
  • I hate it

That’s it. Nice and simple without any ambiguity. I decided to keep the text and ignore obfuscating them with stars.

I’m considering retroactively converting all my reviews to the new system but I’m lazy.

I started Bloodborne and I’m enjoying it so far despite the technical issues which is the same reaction I had with Demons Souls and Dark Souls on PlayStation 3. The load times are horrendous for a game of this nature and the framerate is still an issue despite the hardware power. I really wish From Software valued framerate over their glossy stonework.

Since my brother and I are sharing this Bloodborne disc, I’ve returned to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Wii U. I finally made a legitimate dent in it and can see myself finally finishing it.
