Chrono Trigger?! On Nintendo DS?!

Update: Pretty much confirmed for North America as well. Oh, and it’s going to be an enhanced port and not a remake.

It’s been 13 years since Chrono Trigger first debuted for the Super Nintendo. 7 years since the re-release on the PSOne via the Final Fantasy Chronicles collection. Unfortunately, that release was marred by load times.

Plenty of other games have undergone remakes on the Nintendo DS, so it’s about damn time Square Enix gave Chrono Trigger the same kind of treatment.

Currently, we have no idea what this ‘Chrono Trigger DS’ will entail. Will it be a re-release or an all out remake? All we got so far is a teaser site.
