Finally A Decent Look At Prototype…Sorta

It’s tough getting a good look at Prototype. inFamous had a demo, but Prototype? It had a handful of short clips about bosses and whatnot. Well now GameTrailers have done us all a favor and compiled all that old footage into a preview.

I like what Alex Mercer is doing on screen; he’s a lunatic! Dude, did a flying elbow drop into a tank from like 30 feet in the air. I’m not particularly fond of the NYC back drop. Why NYC? Why not go all out with a fictional city? NYC is so 2008.

I’m not too fond of the screen tearing, but it’s not a showstopper on its own. But when you compare it to inFamous…

Activision Blizzard Axes Several Games (Updated)

Update #2: Looks like DoubleFine’s Brutal Legend is going to be fine.

Update: Apparently, Ghostbusters is still rolling.

So Activision-Blizzard decided to put out a list of franchises they’ll be publishing from the Vivendi Games branch:

  • Crash Bandicoot
  • Spyro the Dragon
  • Ice Age
  • Prototype
  • unannounced game

Great! Oh wait! What happened to the rest of the Vivendi Games? The following games are now publisher-less and will stay that way until somebody comes along and forks out the money to distribute them.
