We’re at the cusp of the Fall and Holiday rush, so I thought I’d take a look at my gaming budget. How much did I spent? How much did I save? Let’s take a look.
- Total MSRP: $581.75
- Total Paid: $556.25 (after taxes)
- Total Savings: $25.50
I spent just over $500 spent on games, pre-orders and accessories thus far. I’m not surprised. That’s approximately $69 per month. The total savings of $25.50 is a nice amount, but not as much as I thought it would be. By the looks of things, I’m expecting my total gaming expenditures to top $1000 when it’s all said and done.
I have been recouping costs through the selling of old titles which topped $179.00. I wish it was all cash, but that’s not the case. Curse the EB Games Edge card.
On the bright side, I’ve been following my under $69.99 rule of thumb. I have yet to pay full price for a game and I don’t see myself needing to break that rule this year. As for missed deals? inFamous for $29.99 back in June was the only big deal which I missed out on.
My review for Devil Summoner 2 is up. Give it a read if you’re curious.
On going games include Wipeout HD: Fury expansion, Phoenix Wright 3 and Call of Duty 4 multiplayer. All three of these games are easily recommended.
As for upcoming games? Shadow Complex and Batman: Arkham Asylum are on the top of the list. Especially Batman for $38.83!
