Halo: Reach is coming out this Tuesday. I didn’t think I was going to pick it up, but I couldn’t pass up a good deal. So I bit and now I await Bungie’s last (?) Halo installment to arrive at my doorstep.
In the meantime, I’ve been wrapping up a few games starting with Yakuza 3. I thought it was good, but not the eye opening experience that was Yakuza 2. Then I crossed the finished line in Super Mario Galaxy 2. I’m not completely done with it, but I’ve played enough of it to pen a review. (Hint: It’s awesome)And finally, I believe Dragon Quest IX’s end is nigh, but like with SMG2, I doubt I’m ready to put it down. There’s just so much stuff to do in this game.
I don’t know how I managed to wrap up everything a few days shy of Halo: Reach, but here I am. I started SMG2 the week it came out, and slowly chipped away at it. I started Yakuza 3 late last month and I began my journey through Dragon Quest IX sometime between July and August.
To fill time between now and Reach, I decided to invest some time into Super Street Fighter IV. Nothing major, just working through some single player and getting rid of the rust. I may join some of the GAF rooms once I feel comfortable, but I doubt I’ll have the time since I’m thinking about activating some free online codes to play some Halo: Reach multiplayer.
So that’s what I’ve been up to. What about you?
