Dear Game Developers,
I just purchased Mirror’s Edge off Steam. It was $5. That was cheap. I also picked up Super Meat Boy for $3.75.
You know what else was cheap? Mass Effect 1 & 2. I really wanted to pick those up as well, but I didn’t because of one simple reason: lack of proper controller support.
What’s bewildering about all of this is the fact that these games were all on the Xbox 360. I cannot think of any reason why you couldn’t leave the Xbox 360 controller support in the game.
I realize not every game released on the PC should have controller support, but if your game was developed for Microsoft’s console, would you kindly leave that input method intact? I like to play my Civilizations and StarCrafts at my desk, but I love playing the Mass Effects and Super Meat Boys of the world on the comfort of my couch and in the glory of my 52″ HDTV.

P.S – Please don’t make it difficult to modify the control scheme. I don’t want to fiddle around with external programs or config files — I just want it to work.
